There are times in
all of our lives when we need the counsel of others.
Exodus
18:18-19 (NASB95) 18“aYou
will surely wear out, both yourself and
1these
people who are with you, for the
2task
is too heavy for you;
byou
cannot do it alone. 19 “Now listen to
1me:
I will give you counsel and God be with you.
The primary goal of
“Hiding Light Ministries” it to help you restore your connection
with God, and to help you find your destiny within God’s Holy
Kingdom. Each one of us can make certain parts of life’s journey on
our own, but form time to time the “Narrow Road” is a tough road to
go alone, and in those times that is where we come in, offering
biblical advice and strategies to help you get through the tough
times.
First we must be
open and willing to seek and apply advice. Job 6:24 (NASB95)
24 "Teach
me, and
aI
will be silent; And show me how I have erred.
Proverbs
19:20 (NASB95) 20 aListen
to counsel and accept discipline, That you may be wise
1the rest
of your days.
Jesus told a
parable about one hiding a light under a table, and when we are not
healthy mentally or emotionally then we are hiding in the darkness
by Hiding our light, not “Hiding in the Light” so we may be a Light
to this World.
Matthew
5:14-16 (NASB95) 14 “You are
athe
light of the world. A city set on a
1hill cannot be hidden;
15
anor
does anyone light a lamp and put it under a
1basket,
but on the lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the
house. 16 “Let your light shine
before men in such a way that they may
asee
your good works, and
bglorify
your Father who is in heaven.
We have many awesome
promises from God, but this is a promise that God will comfort us in
out time of troubles and then we too may comfort other when they to
are troubled.

Corinthians 1:3-4 (NASB95)3 aBlessed
be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of
mercies and
bGod of
all comfort, 4 who
acomforts
us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those
who are in
1any
affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by
God.
May God be with
you on all your journeys, including your journey to oneness.
